Google DeepMind has introduced Genie 2, an AI model capable of generating diverse and interactive 3D environments from a single image prompt. These environments can be used in games, animated movies and training embodied AI agents. Genie 2 builds upon its predecessor, Genie 1, which focused on 2D world generation.
